It shall be unlawful for a member of the commission to receive a gift of ten dollars ($10) or more per month. “Gift” as used in this section means a gift made directly or indirectly by a state candidate, an elected state officer, a legislative official, an agency official, or a lobbyist or by any person listed in Section 87200.
