View on leginfo.ca.govFor purposes of this chapter, the following classes and courses are authorized to be offered by school districts and county superintendents of schools for the Adult Education Program, established pursuant to Article 9 (commencing with Section 84900) of Chapter 5 of Part 50 of Division 7 of Title 3, apportionment purposes from the adult education fund:
(a)Programs for adults in elementary and secondary basic skills, including programs leading to a high school diploma or a high school equivalency certificate.
(b)Programs for adult immigrants who are eligible for educational services in citizenship, English as a second language, immigrant integration, and workforce preparation.
