§ 35720.5

Statute text

(a)The county committee shall adopt a tentative recommendation following which action it shall hold one or more public hearings in the area proposed for reorganization at least 30 days before submission of a final recommendation for unification or other reorganization to the state board.

(b)The public hearing required by this section shall be called when both of the following conditions are met:

(1)Notice is sent to the governing board of each affected district at least 10 days before the hearing.
