View on leginfo.ca.gov(a)To ensure that Californians are protected from out-of-state licensees with disqualifying conditions, the board shall maintain an out-of-state licensee feature on its license lookup tab of the home page of its internet website that allows consumers to obtain information about an individual whose principal place of business is not in this state and who seeks to exercise a practice privilege in this state. At minimum, these features shall include all of the following:
(1)The ability of the consumer to search by name and state of licensure.
(2)The disclosure of information in the possession of the board, which the board is otherwise authorized to publicly disclose, about an individual exercising a practice privilege in this state, including, but not limited to, whether the board has taken action of any form against that individual and, if so, what the action was or is.
