View on leginfo.ca.gov(a)A veterinarian engaged in the practice of veterinary medicine, as defined in Section 4826, employed by the University of California and engaged in the performance of duties in connection with the School of Veterinary Medicine or employed by the Western University of Health Sciences and engaged in the performance of duties in connection with the College of Veterinary Medicine shall be issued a university license pursuant to this section or hold a license to practice veterinary medicine in this state.
(b)An individual may apply for and be issued a university license if all of the following are satisfied:
(1)The applicant is currently employed by the University of California or Western University of Health Sciences, as defined in subdivision (a).
