§ 21551

Statute text

Every person dealing in secondhand goods, wares or merchandise, either as pawnbroker or otherwise, who buys or receives as a pledge any builders’ tools shall keep a register in which shall be entered all of the following:

(a)The place, date and hour of the sale or pledge of any such tools.

(b)The name, address and description of the seller or pledgor.
