Dominic Adame appeals from a judgment of conviction after a jury found him
guilty of receiving a stolen vehicle under Penal Code section 496d and driving a vehicle
without consent under Vehicle Code section 10851, subdivision (a). (Unlabeled statutory
citations refer to the Penal Code.) We appointed counsel to represent Adame on appeal,
and counsel filed an opening brief that raised no issues and requested independent review
