California Supreme Court Nov 15, 2017 No. S244166Published
Before: Cantil, Chin, Cuéllar, Kruger, Liu, Sakauye
The petition for review is granted. The issue to be briefed and argued is limited to the following: Was defendant's right of confrontation [1229]violated when he was unable to see witnesses as they testified because the trial court allowed a computer monitor on the witness stand to be raised by several inches to allow them to testify without seeing him when they testified in his presence?
Corrigan, J., was absent and did not participate.
