Ruling
25PR00107 Case Management Conference
TENTATIVE RULING:
APPEARANCE OF GUARDIAN IS NOT REQUIRED. The Court acknowledges the Court Investigator Memo filed on April 21, 2026. The Guardian is directed to review the filed Court Investigator Memo and address or cure the deficiencies identified therein. To ensure compliance with the requirement of an annual GC-251, this matter is set for a further Case Management Conference at 9:00 a.m. on June 2, 2026, in Department 5. If the Guardian has at that time filed an updated GC-251, an appearance will be waived, and a new hearing date shall be set for one year out for the filing of the annual Status Report.
15. Guardianship of Francis Mayre Guadalupe Lopez Corona 25PR00125 Case Management Conference

16. Guardianship of Yazuara Liseth Alvarez Paxtor 25PR00132 Case Management Conference
TENTATIVE RULING:
APPEARANCE OF GUARDIAN IS NOT REQUIRED. The Court acknowledges the Guardianship Status Report filed on April 7, 2026, and the Court Investigator Memo filed on April 29, 2026. As indicated in the Court Investigator Memo, information related to the ward’s current address (Question 2 (a)-(e)) was omitted from the Guardianship Status Report, and needs to be provided. To ensure compliance with the requirement of an annual GC-251, this matter is set for a further Case Management Conference at 9:00 a.m. on June 2, 2026, in Department 5. If the Guardian has by that time filed an updated address for the ward, an appearance will be waived. The Court notes the ward will reach the age of 21 in November, 2026, at which point the Guardianship will terminate by operation of law. The matter is therefore set for a Case Management
Conference at 9:00 a.m. on December 1, 2026, in Department 5 to address the termination of the Guardianship.
17. Guardianship of Leovigildo Cavero Merino 25PR00155 Case Management Conference
TENTATIVE RULING:
NO APPEARANCES REQUIRED. The required document has been received and reviewed. The matter is set for the next annual Case Management Conference at 9:00 a.m. on May 4, 2027, in Department 5 for review of compliance with the filing of the Confidential Guardianship Status Report (Judicial Council Form GC-251). If a completed GC-251 has been filed in a timely fashion prior to the court date, appearances will be waived.
18. Guardianship of Cody Yuji Hirasa 25PR00470 Status Update
TENTATIVE RULING:
APPEARANCE OF THE GUARDIAN IS REQUIRED. The stay of the tentative ruling from March 17, 2026, is lifted. The court imposes the $250 sanction for the failure to appear on February 3, 2026, and provide the court with a status of the guardianship. The Guardian is to appear and show cause why the Guardianship should not be terminated for failure to comply with the Court’s July 15, 2025, order directing the Guardian to appear on February 3, 2026, and show cause why the guardianship should not be terminated.
19. Guardianship of Abigail Tynes Smalley SPR094261 Case Management Conference
