Tentative Ruling - 05/28/2026 Peter Borkon

ORDER RE: CASE MANAGEMENT

The Court has ordered the following after review of the case.

Pursuant to CRC 3.110(g), plaintiff must file a request for entry of default within 10 days after the time for service has elapsed for a responsive pleading. If plaintiff fails to immediately file a request for entry of default, the court may issue an order to show cause for sanctions.

Further, the Court notes that Plaintiff did not file a timely case management conference statement in violation of the Rules of Court.

FURTHER CONFERENCE A Case Management Conference is scheduled for 09/15/2026 at 02:30 PM in Department 15.

Updated Case Management Statements in compliance with Rule of Court 3.725, on Judicial Council Form CM-110, must be filed no later than 08/31/2026. If the foregoing date is a court holiday or a weekend, the time is extended to the next business day.

If you contest the tentative ruling you must do so in a timely manner in accordance with the Local Rules. Failure to alert the Court and the opposing side or to appear will result in the Court affirming its tentative ruling.
