Plaintiff’s Motion to Vacate Default Judgment
On April 16, 2026, the court continued plaintiff’s motion to June 4, 2026, because the notice of motion, memorandum of points and authorities, and declaration all omit any reason for the court to vacate the default and default judgment entered against defendant. The court required plaintiff to file an amended motion and supporting papers on or before May 4, 2026, that includes the previously omitted reason for the court to vacate the default and default judgment pursuant to Code of Civil Procedure section 664.6. A review of the court record reveals plaintiff did not file an amended motion or supplemental declaration clarifying any legal basis for the relief sought. Accordingly, plaintiff’s motion is denied without prejudice.
