Line 7. DEFENDANTS RICHARD MURPHY, and ELIZABETH MURPHY'S Motion To Compel Plaintiff's Initial Responses To Defendants' Form Interrogatories (Set One), Special Interrogatories (Set One), Request For Production Of Documents (Set One), And For Monetary Sanctions Pursuant To Ccp Sections 2023.090(C) And 2031.300(C).
The unopposed motion to compel plaintiff Dariush Djavaheri to respond to defendants' Form Interrogatories (Set One), Special Interrogatories (Set One), and Request for Production of Documents (Set One) is granted for good cause shown in the moving papers. Plaintiff has failed to respond and has thereby waived objections. Plaintiff shall provide complete, verified, objection-free responses within three weeks. The court further awards sanctions, concluding that Plaintiff's failure to respond to discovery lacks substantial justification. Plaintiff shall pay $1,006.00 to Defendants within 30 days of notice of this order.
For the 9:00 a.m. calendar, all attorneys and parties may appear in Department 301 remotely or in person. Remote hearings will be conducted by videoconference using Zoom.
