1. Guardianship of Zyla Nelonye Anilus 23PR00078 Order to Show Cause
TENTATIVE RULING: APPEARANCE OF THE GUARDIAN IS REQUIRED. The Guardian is to appear and show cause why the court should not impose a $250 sanction for the failure to appear on March 3, 2026, and provide the court with a status of the guardianship.
2. Guardianship of Landon Archie Heath, LaMichael Van Heath, and Drevon Melton Lexion 24PR00932 Case Management Conference
TENTATIVE RULING: NO APPEARANCES REQUIRED. The required document has been received and reviewed. The matter is SET for the next annual Case Management Conference at 9:00 a.m. on June 1, 2027, in Department 5 for review of compliance with the filing of the Confidential Guardianship Status Report (Judicial Council Form GC-251). If a completed GC-251 has been filed in a timely fashion prior to the court date, appearances will be waived.
3. Guardianship of Jalen Joseph Dean Merritt 24PR00958 Case Management Conference
TENTATIVE RULING: APPEARANCE OF THE GUARDIAN IS REQUIRED. The Court notes the Guardian still has not filed a corrected/updated GC-251 as ordered on May 5, 2026. The Guardian is to appear and file an updated GC-251 curing the deficiencies noted in the Court Investigator’s Memo, or show cause why the Court should not impose sanctions or terminate the guardianship for failure to comply with the Court’s order.
