Hearing Time: 9:00 AM) 9 WING KWONG QUOCK,) Department: 404) 10 Respondent) Presiding: AI MORI) 11) 12 REQUEST FOR ORDER RE: AUTHORIZATION TO TRAVEL INTERNATIONALLY AND APPLY 13 & OBTAIN CURRENT PASSPORTS 14 TENTATIVE RULING 15 Having read and considered the pleadings, declarations, and other evidence submitted in this matter, the 16 Court makes the following findings and orders: 17 1) The hearing on Mother’s Request for Order filed 4/14/2026 seeking authorization to apply for and 18 obtain passports for the parties’ minor children and for authorization to travel internationally with the 19 children was erroneously not first set on the readiness calendar. 20 2) The parties are ordered to attend mediation with FCS mediator Juanita Quintero on Tuesday, 21 6/23/2026 at 9:00 AM. 22 3) A future hearing date for Mother’s Request for Order filed 4/14/2026 is set for Tuesday, 7/7/2026 at 23 9:00 AM in Dept. 404 in the event the parties do not reach a full agreement in mediation. 24 4) Mother’s attorney shall prepare the Findings and Order After Hearing. 25 5) Preparation of Order: If you are directed by the court to prepare the order after hearing – within 10 26 calendar days of the hearing you must either: (a) Serve the proposed order to the other party/counsel 27 for approval, and follow the procedures set forth in CA Rules of Court, Rule 5.125(c), or (b) If the 28 other party did not appear or the matter was uncontested, submit the proposed order after hearing 29 directly to the court.
Failure to submit the order after hearing within 10 days may allow the other
1 party to prepare a proposed order and submit it to the court in accordance with CA Rules of Court, 2 Rule 5.125(d). 3
