On April 9, 2026, defendants Lakeland Village Owners Association and The Helsing
Group filed a demurrer and motion to strike against plaintiff Paul O’Donnell’s complaint.
On May 11, 2026, the deadline for plaintiff’s opposition brief, plaintiff filed a first
amended complaint. As a result of the filing of the first amended complaint, the court
overrules the demurrer and denies the motion to strike as moot.
TENTATIVE RULING # 1: DEFENDANTS’ DEMURRER IS OVERRULED AS MOOT.
DEFENDANTS’ MOTION TO STRIKE IS DENIED AS MOOT. NO HEARING ON THIS
