202200570806PRWT: In the Matter of Pauline Margaret Murray 09/10/2026 in Department J6 Account and Report

The petition requested probate of a will dated 05/03/11. The will was admitted to probate by the court on 02/23/23. The original will has not been lodged with the court.

This was heard on 07/09/26 and continued as the original will had not been lodged. The original will is still not lodged.

Attorney Ridley appears to believe that the matter was continued due to notice as he filed an Amended Declaration re notice. The matter was continued due to administrator not lodging the original will.

The original will is still not lodged with the court.

The court notes the following:

The real property was sold. The Seller’s Final Closing Statement has not been filed.

The I&A lists a 2003 GMC Safari, a 1987 Didge Safari, miscellaneous household furniture and furnishings, and miscellaneous tools and yard equipment.

The petitioner states that she discarded personal property. Administrator fails to discuss the vehicles and yard tools and equipment.

Petitioner reimbursed herself in 12/23, without prior court approval, for estate expenses incurred, including travel expenses. Itemized at Schedule A. The total requested to be approved is $10,949.44.

The itemization is not specific. For example administrator states she spent $782.94 for “travel” on 08/16/21 but that no airfare and or parking required for this trip. An itemization of the amounts requested is required.

Administrator to provide a detailed itemization of the expenses.

Administrator has not provided the following: Sales, purchases, or exchanges of assets (only discusses the sale of the house and discarding personal property); and assets on hand. (CRC 7.550(b))

202200570806PRWT: In the Matter of Pauline Margaret Murray

Petitioner to file and serve an Amended Petition for Final Distribution.

The court intends to continue the hearing to 12/10/26 at 9:00 a.m. in Department J6 for the will to be lodged and for the Amended Petition to be filed.
