Please note pursuant to the Standing Order of the Sacramento Superior Court No. SSC-25-27, as of November 10, 2025 this case is scheduled for Case Management in Dept 28.
Parties who wish to contest the tentative ruling below must: (1) request a hearing by calling the Case Management Oral Argument Request Line at (916) 874-5463 no later than 4:00 p.m. on the Court day before the scheduled CMC, and (2) advise opposing counsel of the request. If a hearing is not requested by 4:00 p.m. on the Court day before the scheduled CMC, the tentative ruling shall become the final order of the Court.

On the Court's own motion, the Case Management Conference scheduled for 11/14/2025 is continued to 01/16/2026 at 9:00 AM in Department 28 at Gordon D. Schaber Superior Court.
The court concurrently sets an OSC re: Monetary Sanctions against Plaintiff and/or Plaintiffs counsel up to $1,000 for (1) failure to file a Case Management Conference Statement per Local Rule 2.51 and (2) for failure to timely seek entry of default against Defendants G6 Hospitality LLC, Motel 6 Operating, L.P., and Motel 6 Sacramento, CA Downtown, all of which according to the Courts file were served over one year ago on June 20, 2024 but have yet to file any responsive pleadings. (See Cal. Rule of Court, Rule 3.110(g)[If a defendant fails to file and serve responsive pleadings within the prescribed time period, the plaintiff must file a request for entry of default within 10 days after the time for service has elapsed.].)

Attorney/Party Compliance Statement(s) (Local Form CV\E-112) shall be filed not less than fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing pursuant to Local Rule 2.55(C). Failure to timely file a statement may result in the imposition of sanctions.
Submitting a Request for Dismissal for filing in response to this Notice may not result in the OSC hearing being taken off calendar.
