Publication is insufficient. Publication filed 07/14/26 in the Santa Paula Times. Decedent was a resident of Camarillo and publication in Santa Paula times is insufficient. (Probate Code §8121)
An Objection was filed by Kenneth Dewalt. Objector states he is filing the objection on behalf of himself, Autry Dewalt, Tim Dewalt, Dennis Dewalt, Angela Picerni, and Lloyd Dewalt.
Objector cannot file an objection on behalf of the other intestate heirs.
Any interested party, intestate heir, can join his objection, but they have to be named as an objector and sign the objection on their own behalf. Any interested party could also file their own objection.
If Objector wants to be appointed administrator, he needs to file his own petition and notice, publication, etc.
The court intends to continue the hearing to 12/10/26 for statutorily sufficient publication.
The clerk shall give notice.
