On 6/13/2025, Plaintiff Jane Doe M.K. (Plaintiff) filed suit against Defendant Los Angeles Unified School (LAUSD) and Mr. Saldana aka Doe 1 (Defendant), alleging personal injuries and damages from childhood sexual abuse. On 7/13/2026, LAUSD moved to compel Plaintiff to verified responses, without objections, to its: (1) Requests for Production of Documents to Plaintiff, Set One (RFP); (2) Form Interrogatories, General; and (3) Special Interrogatories to Plaintiff, Set One (collectively, Subject Discovery). The motion is unopposed.
Discussion
LAUSD moves to compel Plaintiff to provided verified responses to the Subject Discovery. The Court takes Plaintiff's non-opposition to be a concession to the motion on the merits. The Court urges Plaintiff to obtain counsel. Based
on the foregoing, Defendant's motion to compel Plaintiff to provided verified responses to the Subject Discovery is granted. Plaintiff is sanctioned $1,050 ($350/hr x 3 sets of discovery).
