Procedural History 18 1) The parties are Petitioner Reynaldo C. Gomez Hernandez (Father) and Respondent Carla Celia 19 Deasy (Mother). There is one minor child subject to these proceedings: Paloma Deasy (DOB: 20 09/19/17). 21 2) On May 4, 2026, Father filed a Request for Order seeking joint legal and joint physical custody 22 and an increase in the parenting schedule. 23 3) On June 3, 2026, Mother filed a Responsive Declaration to Father’s request wherein she requests 24 that the Court keep the existing orders in place, with the only modification being to the number of 25 video calls.

Instead of every day, Mother is asking this Court to make the calls 4 times per week. 26 4) On June 8, 2026, Judgment was entered, which incorporate the Findings and Order After Hearing 27 filed on March 13, 2026. Per the Judgment, Mother has sole legal and sole physical custody of 28 the minor child. Father’s parenting time is on alternating Sundays from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in 29

1 San Francisco. Father shall also have daily video calls at 6:30 p.m. for up to 15 minutes with the 2 minor child. 3 B. Findings and Order 4 1) This Court has jurisdiction to make child custody orders in this case under the Uniform Child 5 Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act. A violation of this order may subject the party in 6 violation to civil or criminal penalties, or both. The country of habitual residence of the minor 7 child(ren) is the United States. 8 2) Father’s request to modify the existing parenting plan and custody order is DENIED as premature 9 – the Judgment was just entered in June of 2026.

The Court will consider increasing Father’s 10 parenting time after December 31, 2026. 11 3) After December 31, 2026, Father may file a new Request for Order if he seeks an increase in 12 parenting time, which shall contain specific information as to the status of the existing orders, 13 what new orders Father requests (i.e., what Father believes the new parenting plan should be), 14 and why the Court should increase his time. 15 4) The Court will prepare the Findings and Order After Hearing. 16
