INTRODUCTION On July 30, 2026, plaintiff Emeka V. Peter ("Plaintiff") filed this motion for a copy of the body-worn camera video produced by the Los Angeles Police Department ("LAPD") and lodged with the Court in response to a deposition subpoena. Defendants Avetik Saroyan and US Car Collision (collectively, "Defendants") filed an opposition brief on August 13, 2026.

Plaintiff filed a reply brief on August 17, 2026. II. DISCUSSION Plaintiff explains that he requested copies of video recordings from the LAPD through a deposition subpoena for business records. Notice of the deposition subpoena was given to Defendants and the deposition subpoena identified Plaintiff as the deposition officer and provided the address for the Alhambra Courthouse. LAPD provided a copy of the camera recordings on a CD and a declaration from its custodian of records. Given

LAPD's compliance with the deposition subpoena and Defendants' failure to object to the deposition subpoena when it was issued, the Court fails to see any reason why the CD should not be given to Plaintiff. III. CONCLUSION Based on the foregoing, Plaintiff's motion is GRANTED. The Clerk is ordered to provide Plaintiff with the CD from LAPD. Plaintiff to give notice.
