PLAINTIFF ARWELIE CABALLERO'S Motion To Compel Further Responses By Defendant To Form Interrogatories - Employment Law, Set One. The court grants the motion in part and denies it in part as stated below. Meet and confer efforts were adequate. The court orders the City to pay $250 in sanctions to Plaintiff within 30 days. The City's initial discovery responses were insufficient and it was slow to come into compliance with its obligations. But Plaintiff has achieved only limited success with this motion, his moving papers overreached, and his separate statement was unreasonably prolix in laying out concerns about responses the City had already amended. The court's tentative ruling in its entirety has been sent to counsel via email.

For the 9:00 a.m. calendar, all attorneys and parties may appear in Department 301 remotely or in person. Remote hearings will be conducted by videoconference using Zoom.
