Ruling

201500467338PRCP: In The Matter of Maria Georgine Pateras 08/25/2026 in Department J6 Hearing re: Annual/Biennial Status Report Conservatorship Review

The status report was filed on 7/9/26. The Court has reviewed the status report. It is complete. No appearance required.

The next biennial status report shall be served and filed by 7/31/28 and set for a hearing on 9/5/28 at 10:30 AM in Department J6. The next court investigator’s report shall be filed by 7/31/28. Ventura County Local Rule 10.02(J)(2) states that the “conservator must serve a copy of the status report to the individuals identified in Probate Code §2351.2(a)(2)(A) and file a proof of service.” As of 8/19/26 no proof of service has been filed. If not filed before the hearing, or the Court does not find good cause to waive it, the Court will continue this hearing to 9/29/26 at 10:30 a.m. in J6 in order for the proof of service to be filed.

The court notes that the conservatee has had a change of address since the last hearing. Conservator failed to file a pre-move notice of change of address per Probate Code section 2352, subdivision (e)(3). Conservator is ordered to file judicial notice form GC-080 “Notice After Change of Address” pursuant to Probate Code section 2352 and California Rules of Court, rules 7.1013 and 7.1063. The clerk shall give notice.
