18 A. Procedural History 19 1) Petitioner Timothy A. Carlberg (Father) and Respondent Ameena Gill (Mother) have one minor 20 child together, Gavin (DOB 3/1/2017, age 9). The parties share joint legal and physical custody of 21 Gavin and have been following a 2-2-5-5 parenting time schedule since the fall of 2024. (See 22 6/10/2024 Findings and Order After 4/23/2024 Hearing.) 23 2) On for hearing is Father’s request for a week-on, week-off schedule with a Sunday evening 24 exchange starting in the fall of 2026, a modification of the current 15-minute FaceTime call 25 schedule, a right of first refusal, and orders for the selection of extracurricular activities and an 26 assessment for Gavin.
Mother opposes Father’s proposed changes, seeks clarification regarding 27 the selection of extracurricular activities, asks the Court to admonish Father to comply with prior 28 orders, and requests a different kind of assessment for Gavin. Father has filed a reply in which he 29 responds to Mother’s declaration. The Court has reviewed and considered the parties’ filings.
1 B. Findings and Orders 2 1) This Court has jurisdiction to make child custody orders in this case under the Uniform 3 Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act. A violation of this order may subject the party 4 in violation to civil or criminal penalties, or both. The country of habitual residence of the minor 5 child is the United States. 6 2) The parties are ordered to appear in person or via Zoom video on 8/25/2026 at 9am in 7 Department 404. 8
