19 A. Procedural History 20 1) Lilia Del Carmen Ba Celis (Mother) and Josue Gomez Be (Father) have one minor child together, 21 Aiden (DOB 9/25/2015, age 10). Mother recently filed a petition for dissolution, on date, and 22 there are no custody orders in place. 23 2) On 2/4/2026, Father filed a request for joint legal and physical custody of Aiden with parenting 24 time for Father from Thursday at 4pm until Sunday at 9pm. He states that the parties lived 25 together as a family until Mother filed a petition for dissolution in California and then suddenly 26 moved to Oregon without Father’s permission, and against Aiden’s wishes. Father asks for Aiden 27 to be immediately returned to California so that they can resume the relationship they shared 28 throughout the child's life. 29 3) Mother has not filed a response.
1 4) The parties attended mediation on 5/1/2026 and did not reach an agreement. 2 B. Findings and Orders 3 1) This Court has jurisdiction to make child custody orders in this case under the Uniform Child 4 Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act. A violation of this order may subject the party in 5 violation to civil or criminal penalties, or both. The country of habitual residence of the minor 6 child is the United States. 7 2) The parties are ordered to appear in person or via Zoom at 9am on 5/19/2026 in 8 Department 404. 9
