Petition to Confirm Trust/Trustee, Determine Ownership, and Direct Property Transfer
Pursuant to Estate of Heggstad (1993) 16 Cal.App.4th 943, and the terms of the
decedent’s Trust and pour-over will, petitioner requests the court to direct transfer of
the decedent’s real property located at 1127 Truckee Road in South Lake Tahoe,
California to the Trust. The petition does not include, however, proof that the decedent
owned said property (i.e., grant deed).
TENTATIVE RULING # 5: APPEARANCES ARE REQUIRED AT 8:30 A.M., FRIDAY,
AUGUST 21, 2026, IN DEPARTMENT FOUR. IF, HOWEVER, THE PETITIONER SUBMITS
PROOF OF OWNERSHIP PRIOR TO THE HEARING, AND THERE IS NO OBJECTION TO THE
PETITION MADE AT OR BEFORE THE TIME OF HEARING, THE COURT INTENDS TO
