Case Type Decedent's Estate Hearing Date / Time Tue, 08/25/2026 - 09:00 Nature of Proceedings Petition for Probate and Letters Testamentary Tentative Ruling Probate Notes: Appearances required. On June 18, 2026, Lisa L. Hall-Moore filed a Petition for Probate of Will and Letters Testamentary. In that petition, Lisa L. Hall-Moore alleged under the penalty of perjury that Decedent was a resident of Orcutt, CA on the date of Decedent's death (April 25, 2019). On August 10, 2026, John Lee Hall, Jr. filed an objection to Lisa L.

Hall-Moore's petition. The objection not only challenges the appointment of Lisa L. Hall-Moore as Personal Representative of the estate, but submits evidence that contradicts the Decedent's alleged residence, showing that Decedent died a resident of Pismo Beach, which is located in San Luis Obispo County. The filed, written objection not only places this matter at issue, requiring evidentiary hearing to resolve; but also requires an inquiry by the Court into the residence of Decedent on the date of death.

Petitioners must come prepared to show cause why this Court should not order venue of this case transferred, because venue is proper in San Luis Obispo County. The following must also be submitted: Power of Attorney. Decedent did not execute the trust in fact. The trust was executed by an agent acting under a power of attorney. The Power of Attorney must be submitted in order to review the powers granted therein.
