Plaintiffs' Motion For Leave To File First Amended Complaint is GRANTED.
"The court may, in furtherance of justice, and on any terms as may be proper, allow a party to amend any pleading or proceeding by adding or striking out the name of any party, or by correcting a mistake in the name of a party, or a mistake in any other respect; and may, upon like terms, enlarge the time for answer or demurrer. The court may likewise, in its discretion, after notice to the adverse party, allow, upon any terms as may be just, an amendment to any pleading or proceeding in other particulars; and may upon like terms allow an answer to be made after the time limited by this code." (Code Civil Procedure section 473(a)(1).)

Good cause appearing, the court grants Plaintiff leave to file the First Amended Complaint. Plaintiff must file its First Amended Complaint as proposed forthwith but no later than May 29, 2026. Moving Party is ordered to prepare a proposed order containing the above text verbatim and email it to contestdept302tr@sftc.org prior to the time set for hearing.

The text of the email shall include the name and contact information, including email address, of the attorney or party who will appear at the hearing.
The court no longer provides a court reporter in the Law & Motion Department. Parties may retain their own reporter, who may appear in the courtroom or remotely. A retained reporter must be a California certified court reporter (CSR), for only a CSR's transcript may be used in California courts.
