TENTATIVE RULING:
Defendants Choi and Thorensons motion to strike portions of Plaintiff Indong Advanced Materials, Inc.s complaint is denied.
On June 6, 2024, the Court denied self-represented Defendant Rollie Petersons motion to strike to strike portions of Plaintiff Indong Advanced Materials, Inc.s complaint. Peterson, an attorney, also represents co-defendants Choi and Thorenson, who bring the instant motion. Choi and Thorensons motion to strike portions of the complaint is based on the same grounds as Petersons failed motion. In fact, the memorandum in support of Petersons motion to strike was actually the memorandum of points and authorities in support of this identical motion brought by Choi and Thorenson, as a separate memorandum in support of Petersons motion was not filed.
Choi and Thorensons instant motion to strike portions of the Complaint is denied for the same reasons Petersons identical motion to strike portions of the Complaint was denied. Please see the detailed reasoning in the Courts June 6, 2024 order denying Petersons motion to strike.
Defendants motion to strike is denied in its entirety.
The minute order is effective immediately. No formal order pursuant to CRC Rule
