Petition to Appoint Limited Conservator
The court investigator’s report recommends establishment of the proposed
conservatorship. However, there is no assessment or report from the regional center in
the court’s file. In a limited conservatorship, the regional center is required to complete
an assessment. (Prob. Code, § 1827.5.) The court investigator’s report is independent of
the regional center’s assessment. (Prob. Code, § 1826.)
Additionally, to date, there is no proof of service of the notice of hearing upon the proposed conservatee or the regional center, Alta Regional, in the court’s file. (Prob.
Code, §§ 1822, subd. (d), 1827.5.)
