Ruling

14. CU0002439 Brandon Huerta vs. Jason Waters, et al. No appearances are required. This case is at issue. Jury fees are paid. Defendant has failed to file a case management conference statement which would alert the Court to unavailable dates, and Plaintiff has indicated no dates of unavailability. Accordingly, the Court sets a five-day jury trial and related dates as follows:

Trial: March 24, 25, 26, April 1 and 2, 2027 at 8:30 a.m. each day, Dept. A PTC: February 23, 2027 at 1:30 p.m., Dept. A MSC: January 29, 2027 at 9:00 a.m., Dept. A (See, LR 4.02)

A pre-trial order shall issue. Unless a party objects to this tentative ruling, gives notice of said objection and appears at the Case Management Conference, parties are deemed to have waived notice of trial AND asserted they will waive conflict on the record at the MSC allowing the trial judge to conduct the MSC.

15. CU0002569 Greg Bomhoff, et al. vs. Lake of the Pines Association No appearances are required. On the Court’s motion, the case management conference is continued to July 17, 2026 at 9:00 a.m., in Department A to permit pending motions to be adjudicated.
