August 10, 2026, Case Management Conference Tentative Rulings

1. CL0002789 Masters Team Mortgage vs. Ronald Pitts, et al. No appearances are required. On the Court’s motion, the case management conference is continued to November 23, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., in Department 6. Neither party filed a timely case management conference statement and all are admonished that failing to file a statement in the future may result in sanctions. The Court also needs information with respect to the status of Defendant Mirabel. Plaintiff shall serve notice of the continued court date.

2. CL0003434 Velocity Investments, LLC vs. George Altenberg Appearances are required. Plaintiff shall show cause why they should not be sanctioned for failing to appear on June 29, 2026, as ordered. The parties shall also show cause why this action should not be dismissed without prejudice and with retention of jurisdiction under Code of Civil Procedure section 664.6(e) in light of the May 8, 2026 notice of settlement.

3. CL0003718 Farmers Insurance Group Federal Credit Union vs. Richard Davis No appearances are required. On its own motion, the Court continues the case management conference to November 23, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in Department 6 for a status regarding reported settlement and dismissal. Plaintiff shall promptly file a notice of settlement and ensure filing of a request for dismissal no later than two weeks prior to the next hearing.

4. CL0003741 Bridgecrest Credit Company, LLC, as agent and servicer for Carvana, LLC vs. Rolando Medina Quiroz, et al. No appearances are required. On its own motion, the Court continues this matter to November 23, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., in Department 6, and sets an order to show cause hearing for the same date and time. Plaintiff shall show cause why they should not be sanctioned or this matter dismissed for failing file a proof of service, an application for service by publication (as appropriate), or a request for dismissal of Defendant Rolando Medina Quiroz as ordered by this Court on April 27, 2026. The clerk shall serve notice of the order to show cause.

5. CU0000128 Douglas J. Schultz vs. Marianne L. Stevenson, et al. No appearances are required. On the Court’s motion, the case management conference is continued to November 23, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., in Department 6, in light of the pending appeal. Parties shall file updated case management conference statements in advance of the next court date.

6. CU0000569 Susan Foote vs. Jenny Renee Hunter Kaeding Appearances are required. Plaintiff (reportedly deceased) or any authorized representative of the estate of Plaintiff shall show cause why this case should not be dismissed pursuant to Code of Civil Procedure section 583.420(a)(2)(A) for failure to bring this matter to trial within 3 years after the action was commenced on February 1, 2023. Defense counsel shall advise the Court whether he is aware of Plaintiff’s passing and any authorized representative of the estate of Plaintiff.
