On April 9, 2026, defendants Lakeland Village Owners Association and The Helsing

Group filed a demurrer and motion to strike against plaintiff Abhijit Indap’s complaint.

On May 11, 2026, the deadline for plaintiff’s opposition brief, plaintiff filed a first

amended complaint. As a result of the filing of the first amended complaint, the court

overrules the demurrer and denies the motion to strike as moot.

TENTATIVE RULING # 2: DEFENDANTS’ DEMURRER IS OVERRULED AS MOOT.

DEFENDANTS’ MOTION TO STRIKE IS DENIED AS MOOT. NO HEARING ON THIS

MATTER WILL BE HELD (LEWIS v. SUPERIOR COURT (1999) 19 CAL.4TH 1232, 1247),

UNLESS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO APPEAR AND REQUEST FOR ORAL ARGUMENT IS
