Accounting and Final Distribution Hearing

Before the court is the “Amended First and Final Account, Petition for Settlement of

Final Account, and Final Distribution” filed July 15, 2026. On July 28, 2026, petitioner

submitted a signed waiver of account from Page Roxanne Campau, the sole beneficiary

under the terms of the decedent’s will and codicil.

The court notes that, in petitioner’s original petition for final distribution (filed

May 28, 2026), before hiring counsel in this matter, petitioner requested the court to approve her request for final distribution “with a note payable to [petitioner] in the

amount of $464,160 for probate expenses.” The amended petition omits this request for

reimbursement. The court deems the request withdrawn.

Lastly, the petitioner indicates she is waiving her right to statutory compensation for

administering the estate; and, although counsel for petitioner is entitled to statutory

compensation in the amount of $16,190.00, the parties have agreed that petitioner shall

pay counsel for their services at the rate of $400 per hour, plus any administrative costs

that are incurred, the total amount of which is estimated not to exceed $10,000. The

court approves counsel’s requested compensation.

TENTATIVE RULING # 5: ABSENT OBJECTION, PETITION IS GRANTED.
