If a party chooses to appear by Zoom, that party must abide by the Notice and 16 Instructions for Remote Appearance in San Francisco Family Court set forth above. 17

18 A. Procedural History 19 1) Peter Holt Thompson (Father) and Katie Anne Roberts (Mother) have one minor child together, 20 Fin, age 5 (DOB 3/4/2021). On 12/6/2022, the parties agreed to share joint legal and joint 21 physical custody of Fin, with 3 weekly overnights for Father and additional times by mutual 22 agreement. The parties also agreed to a 3-hour right of first refusal and a holiday schedule. (See 23 Stipulation and Order filed 12/12/2022.) 24 2) In a Findings and Order After Hearing filed 11/26/2025, the Court ordered that beginning April 25 2026, Father shall have parenting time every Wednesday afternoon from school pick up (or 3pm 26 if no school) until Friday morning school drop off (or 9am if no school) and every other weekend 27 from Friday afternoon school pick up (or 3pm if no school) until Sunday at 3pm.

The Court 28 issued additional orders relating to modification of parenting time, right of first refusal, 29 extracurriculars, and travel.

1 3) On 5/28/2026, after a 2-afternoon evidentiary hearing, the Court denied Father’s request to move 2 Fin’s primary residence from San Francisco to Alameda County. The Court ordered the parties to 3 attend mediation on 7/16/2026 to discuss what parenting time schedule they would like to have 4 after Father moves to Alameda County. The Court set a hearing for 8/6/2026 in the event the

5 parties were unable to reach an agreement at mediation and ordered the parties to file and serve 6 update declarations at least 10 days before the 8/6/2026 hearing informing the Court of their 7 respective proposals for parenting time. 8 4) The parties attended mediation and were unable to reach an agreement. 9 5) Neither party has filed an update declaration informing the Court of their respective proposals for 10 parenting time. 11 B. Findings and Orders 12 1) This Court has jurisdiction to make child custody orders in this case under the Uniform Child

13 Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act. A violation of this order may subject the party in 14 violation to civil or criminal penalties, or both. The country of habitual residence of the minor 15 child is the United States. 16 2) The parties are ordered to appear in person or via Zoom video at 9AM on 8/6/2026 in 17 Department 404. 18
