Accordingly, on the basis of Petitioner's declaration and the existence of a pending spousal support issue, the Court finds good cause to grant Petitioner's order request. (Fam. Code, Sec. 4331(a); Mercado v. Superior Court (2024) 106 Cal.App.5th 1143, 1157; Marriage of Stupp & Schilders (2017) 11 Cal.App.5th 907, 911-914; Hogoboom & King, Cal. Prac. Guide Family L. (TRG 2026) Ch. 6-B, Sec. 6:846 ["The Code does not define 'good cause' for this purpose. Presumably, any showing that the spouse seeking support or the spouse contesting a support award (as the case may be) is capable of working but is unemployed or underemployed will suffice"].)
Counsel are directed to meet and confer on the terms of the order granting vocational evaluation consistent with section 4331 and shall submit the proposed order for the Court's review and approval. (Cal. Rules of Ct., rule 5.98(a).)
