The court intends to approve the amended first account and report and the amended second account and report. The court approves guardian fees of in the amount of $500.00.
The court intends to authorize and direct Petitioner to deposit 835,512.0300 units of T. Rowe Price 2056 TR K (Symbol: TRSKX) and 3.7400 units of T. Rowe Price Retire 2070 TR K into one or more blocked accounts at T. Rowe Price pursuant to a separately issued Order to Deposit Funds in Blocked Account, which shall govern the holding and withdrawal of such assets and to file Acknowledgement of Receipt of Order and Funds for Deposit in Blocked Account.
Moving forward the Court authorizes Petitioner to utilize the Informal Accounting for Blocked Accounts procedure (Ventura County Superior Court Local Form VN- 267, pursuant to Local Rule 10.03(G)) in lieu of filing formal accountings under Probate Code §§ 2620 et seq., with respect to any blocked account(s) established in this Guardianship
Bond to be reduced to $198,000.00
A petition pursuant to Probate Code §2420 is a noticed motion. Notice is required to the ward (minor) and cannot be waived. (See Probate Code §2421(b).
The expenditures appear reasonable in light of both the minors needs and the estate as a whole.
Upon proof of service of the mandatory Notice of Hearing (GC-020) to those entitled to notice pursuant to Probate Code §2421(b), the court intends to approve and allow the payments made to Grace School in the amounts of $6,480.30 for the 2024/2025 academic year, $12,676.72 for the 2025/2026 academic year, and $15,146.19, consisting of $13,393.00 for tuition and $1,753.19 in related educational expenses for the 2026/2027 academic year, as proper expenditures for the Minors education, support, maintenance, and best interests under Probate Code sections 2420 and 2422 and authorize Petitioner to use guardianship estate funds in an amount not to exceed $17,000.00 for the Minors 2027/2028 Grace School tuition and related administrative expenses, after-school care, and Reading Intervention, payable to Grace School of Simi Valley.

The next guardianship account and informal account for blocked accounts shall be filed by 09/22/27 for the period of 06/01/26 05/31/27 and is set for hearing on 11/02/27 at 9:00 a.m. in Department J6.
