The address given for decedents residence is 145 Summit Road. West Hills, CA 91304. This court cannot locate this address to determine in which county the decedents residence was located and to determine if the publication is sufficient.
Petitioner to file a verified supplement re decedents residence address at the time of her death, and completing #5.a.(3) or (4) and #5.a.(7) or (8).
Publication may be insufficient, once decedents residence is verified, the court will analyze. The Publication is insufficient for any IAEA authority as notice of the request for IAEA authority was not included in the publication. Petitioner can either be appointed without IAEA authority, or this hearing can be continued for amended publication. (Probate Code §10450)
Further, the petition filed includes multiple pages that are not a part of the Petition for Letters of Administration. Petitioner can choose, in the alternative, to file an Amended Petition with new publication and notice. (CRC rule 7.53)
The court intends to continue the hearing to 10/01/26 at 9:00 a.m. in Department J6 for either a supplement as discussed above and new publication if required, or an amended petition, new publication and new service of the Notice (DE-121).
The clerk shall give notice.
