HEARING - OTHER: FURTHER COMPLIANCE
On September 19, 2024, this Court preliminarily approved the class action settlement and its terms in this case, including the amount of the settlement ($285,000.00), with the net settlement amount to be paid to class members. It also preliminarily approved class counsel fees of onethird of the settlement amount, as well as a service award to Scott Green, and settlement administrative costs of up to $13,500. The court has reviewed the declarations of Madely Nava and approves the final distribution.
Plaintiff’s counsel shall submit a proposed order in conformity with this ruling.
All parties must comply with Marin County Superior Court Local Rules, Rule 2.10(B) to contest the tentative decision. Parties who request oral argument are required to appear in person or remotely by ZOOM. Regardless of whether a party requests oral argument in accordance with Rule 2.10(B), the prevailing party shall prepare an order consistent with the announced ruling as required by Marin County Superior Court Local Rules, Rule 2.11.
