HARDING) 11) 12 REQUEST FOR ORDER SPOUSAL OR PARTNER SUPPORT 13 TENTATIVE RULING 14 Having read and considered the pleadings, declarations, and other evidence submitted in this matter, the 15 Court makes the following findings and orders: 16 A. Procedural History 17 1) The parties are Petitioner Rachel Denzer and Respondent Matthew Denzer. 18 2) On 5/19/26, Petitioner filed a Petition for Dissolution indicating the date of marriage is 5/31/24 19 and date of separation is 3/28/26 for a marriage of 11 years and 10 months.
There are no minor 20 children subject to this proceeding. 21 3) On 5/19/26, Petitioner filed an Income and Expense Declaration. 22 4) On 6/4/26, Petitioner filed a Request for Order seeking $1,500 in temporary monthly spousal 23 support. 24 5) On 6/23/26, Petitioner filed a Proof of Service of Summons indicating Respondent was served 25 with the Petition, Request for Order, and all other filings by personal service on 6/20/26. 26 B. Findings and Order 27 1) Petitioner’s unopposed request for temporary guideline spousal support is GRANTED effective 28 6/4/26 (i.e., the date on which Petitioner filed the instant Request for Order). 29
1 2) In accordance with the XSpouse report attached hereto and incorporated herein, Respondent shall 2 pay to Petitioner $2,288 per month in guideline temporary spousal support. Respondent shall pay 3 this amount to Petitioner no later than the 1st of each month. The first monthly payment shall 4 commence on 8/1/26 as an order for arrears is set forth below. 5 3) The XSpouse report is based on the following findings: 6 a. Per Petitioner’s Income and Expense Declaration filed 5/19/26, Petitioner earns $2,900 in 7 average monthly income and $900 in monthly self-employment income. 8 b.
Per Petitioner’s Income and Expense Declaration filed 5/19/26, to which Petitioner attests 9 under penalty of perjury, Respondent earns $12,462 in average monthly income. 10 4) Respondent owes Petitioner $4,270.93 in spousal support arrears for the period of 6/4/26 – 11 7/31/26 ($1,982.93 for June + $2,288 for July). Respondent shall pay an additional $500 a month 12 until this balance is paid in full. 13 5) The Court reserves jurisdiction over this temporary spousal support order retroactive to 6/4/26. 14 6) The matter is CONTINUED to 10/8/26 at 9 AM in Dept. 403 for Respondent to file an Income 15 and Expense Declaration, and the Court to recalculate support based on Respondent’s Income and 16 Expense Declaration if necessary. 17 7) Respondent shall file and serve an FL-150 (Income and Expense Declaration) at least 10 days 18 prior to the next hearing. 19 8) The Court will prepare the Findings and Order After Hearing. 20
