Friday – July 24, 2026 Judge Nguyen, Dept. 42 Motion: Plaintiff’s Motion To Vacate Order of Dismissal (unopposed) The Court intends to GRANT Plaintiff’s unopposed Motion To Vacate Order of Dismissal under the mandatory provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure, section 473, subd. (b). Because relief is being granted based upon an attorney affidavit of fault, Plaintiff is ordered to pay reasonable compensatory legal fees and costs to Defendant Ross Dress for Less’ counsel in the amount of $1,000, payable within ten days. However, as of July 23, 2026, Plaintiff has not posted the required bon, the Court continues the hearing to July 31, 2026, to allow Plaintiff to post the required bond. Upon the Plaintiff posting the bond, the Court will issue the order granting the motion to vacate the order of dismissal at the next hearing on July 31, 2026.
