March 20, 2026 Case Management Conference Tentative Rulings
1. CL0002886 The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, LLC vs. Race Rally Media, LLC, et al. No appearance required. In light of Plaintiff’s responsive declaration, the Court will dismiss the current OSC on the Court’s own motion. Plaintiff is admonished CMC Statements are required to be timely filed before each CMC. In addition, the CMC is continued on the Court’s own motion to April 17, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. in Dept. A. Plaintiff is to file an application for default judgment against Defendant Race Rally within seven court days as indicated will be done in the CMC Statement filed on March 13, 2026. Depending on what is filed the Court will determine if a prove up hearing needs to be set.
2. CL0002962 Juan Carlos Sarmiento-Garcia vs. William Wesley Stroup No appearances required. The case is at issue, jury was timely demanded and fees posted. The Court sets jury trial and related dates as follows:

3. CL0003487 Midland Credit Management Inc. vs. Jarrod Spencer Appearances are required by Plaintiff to show cause as to why this case should not be dismissed and/or Plaintiff sanctioned for failure to serve the Summons and Complaint on Defendant. Absent good cause being shown, the Court intends, on its own motion, to set the matter for dismissal pursuant to CCP section 583.420 and vacate the trial date set for July 17, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
4. CU0001216 Greg Bomhoff vs. Lake of the Pines Association, et al. No appearances are required. On its own motion, the Court continues the case management conference to May 15, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in Department A. It does not appear to the Court that an answer to the cross complaint has been filed. Accordingly, Cross-Defendant Bomhoff shall file a responsive pleading, or Cross-Complainant shall file a request for default (as appropriate) or request for dismissal of Cross-Defendant at least two weeks prior to the continued case management conference date.
