Tentative Ruling

TENTATIVE RULING:

The petition for change of name is denied, without prejudice.

The Proof of Publication filed in connection with this petition does not state Petitioner’s current full name or proposed full name consistent with the Petition, Order to Show Cause, and proposed Decree Changing Name. Petitioner’s middle name appears to have been omitted.

Petitioner may request a continuance of the hearing to allow sufficient time to re-publish in compliance with Code of Civil Procedure section 1277.

This minute order is effective immediately. No formal order or other notice is required. (Code Civ. Proc., § 1019.5; Cal. Rules of Court, rule 3.1312.)
