Murphy, states that the notice of the verified application was served on the State Bar of California with a $50.00 application fee. According to the State Bar's Schedule of Charges and Deadlines, the application fee to the State Bar is $600. (Cal. Rules of Court, rule 9.40(e); Rules of State Bar, appen. A, tit. 3, div. 3, ch. 3.) If counsel appears at the hearing and confirms that the full filing fee required by the State Bar has been paid, the application will be granted. Otherwise, the application will be denied without prejudice.
