CASE NUMBER: CVPG17-0029313 This matter is on calendar for further proceedings on the Fourth Account and Report of Conservator. This matter is also on calendar for hearing on an Order to Show Cause Re: Monetary Sanctions issued to the Conservator, Claudia Hostetter, and Counsel for failure to timely file the Fourth Account and Report and failure to file a Status Report as ordered on February 9, 2026. The Fourth Account and Report was filed on June 8, 2026, however it was not accepted by the Court.

At the hearing on June 29, 2026, the Court noted that the accounting fails to comply with Probate Code Section 1060, et seq., no summary of account or the required schedules have been attached, and it is unclear from the invoices attached where the requested amount for attorney’s fees originated from. One invoice includes a charge of $2,205.00 for preparation of the second accounting, which was already addressed and reimbursed in the order approving the third accounting.

A Status Report and response to the Order to Show Cause has been filed which indicates that the Conservator is working on filing an amended account and report. Considering the response, the Court will VACATE the Order to Show Cause and will not impose sanctions. The matter is continued to Monday, August 17, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. in Department 44 for further proceedings on the Fourth Account and Report of Conservator. An amended Account and Report is required to be filed to address the issues raised above. Petitioner is required to file and serve a new Notice

of Hearing for the continued hearing date, along with a copy of the amended account and report, on all parties entitled to notice. No appearance is necessary on today’s calendar.
