Plaintiffs’ Motion for Order that Matters in Requests for Admission be Admitted and Sanctions
The motion is denied. Defendant Rigoberto Rios has demonstrated substantially compliant responses to the requests for admission were provided to plaintiffs prior to the hearing date. (see Kramer declaration, Exhibit A.)
The request for sanctions is granted. (Code of Civil Procedure section 2033.280(c).) Sanctions in the amount of $1,560.00 are imposed upon defendant Rigoberto Rios and defendant’s counsel, jointly and severally.
