Father alleges that Mother moved out of state on 9/1/2023 and took the parties’ child 19 (Maria, DOB: 1/16/2014, age 12) out of her school (despite joint legal custody orders) without 20 Father's permission and Father has not been able to exercise his Court-ordered visitation. Father states 21 Mother has also not updated her contact information with the Court. 22 2) There is no Proof of Service on file evidencing service of Father's Order to Show Cause and Affidavit 23 for Contempt. Therefore, this hearing is continued to Thursday, 9/24/2026 at 9:00 AM in Dept. 404. 24 3) At least 16 Court days prior to the next hearing date, Father must have a third party age 18 years of 25 age or older personally serve on Mother: (a) the Order to Show Cause and Affidavit for Contempt 26 filed 9/29/2023, (b) the Tentative Ruling Instructions, and (c) a copy of this order for continuance 27 (which will be mailed to Father) so that Mother has notice of the new hearing date. 28 4) This is Father’s third Order to Show Cause Re: Contempt on this issue.
The prior Orders to Show 29 Cause Re: Contempt were denied without prejudice due to lack of service. Father is strongly
