CASE NUMBER: 26CV-0210010 Tentative Ruling on Petition for Change of Name: Petitioners John Holmes and Amanda Forde seek to change their last names, as well as the name of their minor son, to Bantrup. All procedural requirements of CCP §§ 1275 et. seq. have been satisfied, with the exception of filing of the original Certificate of Publication. The Court is in receipt of a photocopy of the Certificate of Publication, filed April 15, 2026, but the original must be filed. If the Certificate of Publication is provided, the Court intends to grant the Petition, vacate all future dates and close the file.
