DEFENDANT JUAN MIRANDA, EDGAR MIRANDA DEMURRER to COMPLAINT is continued to May 6, 2026 for Plaintiff to file a supplemental brief (not to exceed 3 pages) providing argument and authority that a declaration required under SFRO is "under any law of the United States or under any rule, regulation, order or requirements made pursuant to law" as opposed to "under any law of this sate or under any rule, regulation, order or requirement made pursuant to the law of this state."
Plaintiff's supplemental brief shall be filed and served no later than April 27, 2026. Defendant may file a response to the supplemental brief (not to exceed 3 pages) no later than May 1, 2026.
This matter will be heard in department 505 by the Honorable Michelle Tong at 1:30 p.m. per the order of the presiding judge. =(501/MT)
