Procedural History 20 1) The parties are Petitioner, Julia Elena Garces (Mother) and Respondent, Conor B. French 21 (Father). They share two minor children named Edward Caleb French (04/06/20) and Christian 22 Robert Garces French (03/19/22). 23 2) On March 13, 2026, Father filed a Request for Order seeking the following orders: 24 3) Educational Decision-Making Authority; 25 4) Alternative School-Specific Order; 26 5) Prospective Relief; 27 6) Financial Responsibility; and 28 7) Modification of Parenting Plan. 29
1 8) On May 6, 2026, Mother filed a Responsive Declaration, which has been read and considered by 2 the Court. 3 9) On May 12, 2026, the Court, on its own motion continued the May 21, 2026 hearing to June 30, 4 2026. FCS Mediation was set to occur on June 16, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. 5 10) On June 23, 2026, Father filed a Reply Declaration, which has been read and considered by the 6 Court. 7 B. Findings and Order 8 1) This Court has jurisdiction to make child custody orders in this case under the Uniform Child 9 Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act. A violation of this order may subject the party in 10 violation to civil or criminal penalties, or both. The country of habitual residence of the minor 11 child(ren) is the United States. 12 2) The parties are ordered to appear. 13
